Shulk (Second Monado) vs Link (Twilight Princess)

Still technically a mismatch, the player ran through the vaccumn of space within the solar system to fight Zanza, but this was before obtaining the true Manado. In other words Shulk is technically faster than light. You can call it game mechanics if you want, but really speed isn't eactly something you can measure in an RPG game unless explicit numbers are given.

I know nothing about link to be honest, but Manado allows for precog. The best way to counter that is mind reading or precog.

In Xenoblade, literally the only way to counter Shulk's visions was mind reading (like telethia), but Shulk has a counter for that (Monado Purge). The Master sword can repel evil, but against Shulk, it's just a well made regular sword. Link has the Magic armour, sure, but taht only lasts so long, and who's to say Monado Purge or Monado Eater couldn't counter it. Link's Shield does absolutely nothing against the Monado's Ether, and even if it could block physical strikes, Monado Cyclone has something to say to that. Link's only form of healing are the things he carries in his bottles, which he has 4 of, therefore being very limited, while Shulk's healing operates on a cooldown, and can affinity link to Dunban to heal himself on Criticals, and with Fiora to make Criticals happen more often. Link's max health is 20 hearts, each 4 HP, so he has 80 HP. Shulk's max health is 9999 HP, and often does way more than 80 HP with each attack; The last thing Shulk defeated before losing Monado II was yaldabaoth, which has 300,000 HP. Link is not a large enemy and possesses no resistance to break, topple, or daze, all of which Shulk can pull off. Shulk can counter everything Link can throw at him. However, I'd be interested in seeing Junk Sword Shulk vs Ordon Sword Link.

^ I had actually won that battle, they just say that I lost it because of the story's progression. It's annoying when you don't get rewarded for your efforts lol. (being level 99 lets you win battles like that.

Though to be honest using game mechanics with they are different games isn't reallyt that reasonable. Shulk may have more HP but the monsters also do more damage meaning it balances out in the end. lol junk sword, I bet i would still win with Shulk with level 99 abilities.

Either way Manado II Shulk actually defeated a form of Zanza, it was only after fightning another form that he needed to use the third Manado.

Oh are you people refering to the first Manado? Wait what? lol these tiers are confusing. I searched up Manado II but that's actually the first Manado that Zanza used. Or are you refering to the Manado that could cut through biological life, (that's still the same sword though)

I thought you meant the Replica Manado

The Monado I is the one that can't cut through Bionis Life. The Monado II is the same sword, but unshackled from its Bionis Life restrictions. The Replica, Rudra, Agni, Abyss, Dogma, and Saga Monados are all replicas that Shulk uses to fight Zanza before receiving the Monado III.
