Shin megami tensei and higher dimensions?

Yeah, YHVH's higher dimensions are stated to be more infinite and more vague than the lower planes in SMT IV apocalypse.

isn't that place more infinite and vague more because it is YHVH's personal universe and less because it is a higher dimension? Or it is explicitly more infinite because it is a higher dimension?

No. Not only are these not mutually exclusive, but we also have used this scan to justify YHVH's 1-C (9D) rating in the past. However, the phrase "more vague and more infinite" likely only applies to the totality of YHVH's Universe as opposed to suggesting each Brane is a higher dimension. It's for this reason why we don't have four extra layers into 1-A (as much as I'd like that).

Does shin megami tensei treat higher dimensions as higher infinities?
I'm not sure what you mean by this exactly, but I don't believe so. Yetzirah, the fifth dimension in Megami Tensei, is described as having an invisible existence in comparison to a third-dimensional being. It's also a portion of The Expanse, which transcends time and space and provides the basis for the dimensions below it. Just as Yetzirah serves as the basis for Assiah, Beriah, serves as the basis for Yetzirah, and thus it is sixth-dimensional.
