Seto Kaiba vs Yami Bakura

In Season 5 Seto and Bakura had an unfinished duel, Bakura fled mid-duel so he could follow Atem into the past.

If Seto Kaiba and Yami Bakura had finished their duel, who would've came out on top?

Bakura lost to Marik and some others. Seto only ever lost to Yugi or sacrificing himself to help Yugi defeated somebody else or accomplish protagonist goals. An example of Seto being defeated basically on purpose was against Noah.

Otherwise, there have been little ocasions where Kaiba was outmatched. Pegasus defeated him using the Eye of Milennium and would've defeated nearly everyone in his place. Without it, Pegasus is done. Marik was almost defeated by Joey and defeated by Yugi. Joey is inferior to Kaiba, shown in every duel they did.

Kaiba was defeated by Yugi in PIS in the Battle City with non-sensical wrong fusions. Give a Milennium item to Kaiba, he is by far the most OP duelist in Yu-Gi-Oh. Bakura pales in comparison.

I personally think Kaiba takes this. Kaiba's deck is pretty much built for anything with the exception of Atem's unmatched plot armor (to which even Fairy Tail hails in comparison).

Kaiba's deck was enough to take down Jaden Yuki (season 1) if that counts for anything.

Kaiba also has more dueling experience (unless you count Bakura's knowledge of the past as dueling experience) and an overall better deck.

I think that if they continued their in-progress duel, as you stated in your post, Bakura would win, because he was in a much better position. If they started a new duel, I'd go with Kaiba, for the same reasons as stated above.
