Semi-Retiring, Moving To Other Things

What's good people? To those who know me, I think you may have noticed that throughout 2024, I haven't been as active as I usually am.

And the reason for this is simply due to time constraints. And this, surprisingly enough, isn't due to work. But I've picked up a hobby that I've been wanting to do for a very long time, and that's content creation. I've spent a lot of time recording and editing videos, and I do genuinely enjoy making them. I'm also working on myself physically and I've committed myself to making hitting the gym a lifestyle rather than a burden.

The issue is that video editing and recording takes up a lot of time (3 hours of recordings that I'm cramming into 10-15 minutes). I kid you not, I picked up the One Piece manga 6 months ago and I barely get time to read it (Only 700 chapters in so far). Forget the wiki, I'm barely getting time to just watch and enjoy stuff. And I've been in the power scaling community for almost a whole decade, and still enjoy doing so and still watch power scaling videos to this day. But making profiles or whole CRT's on Google Docs with links and everything takes too much and I can't commit myself to continue that anymore. And I've also barely interacted in any CRT's besides my own because I just wanted to be done with them, and there's no fun in typing FRA on every vs thread I come across.

With this, I am announcing my semi-retirement from the wiki, I will still lurk around from time to time to check out some profiles on the fandom, but I can't say the same for forums, and I'll only engage in threads should I be pinged on the message wall or by the mods or on Discord (You can add me, the name is (ranagaming.) don't forget the full stop in the end for the username). And well, you can feel free to talk to me about anything on Discord since that's where I'm the most active, and it doesn't need to be power scaling related either.

I still very much liked my time on this wiki, and I'm happy to have made some friends here and there. I've also unintentionally made some enemies, but I wanna look at the good side of things as I take my leave. Tbh, there could be a high chance that overtime I'll end up fading away slowly and completely retiring without saying a proper goodbye so I'm writing this thread to let ya'll know that I had fun and I'm gonna miss talking and discussing these fictional characters with you guys in threads. I'm pretty much done with all the CRT's and profiles I wanted to make, so I'm leaving without any lose ends.

This is Rana, signing out, have a great 2025 everyone!

Was a pleasure knowing you, even if it wasn't intimately, across 6 or so years. Hope to see you here and there still.

Take care of yourself and stay safe, alright? It's been a blast.
