Self-evident intelligence revisions thread

Creating/improving devices capable of draining Big Bang level energies and objects capable of scanning and projecting higher dimensions can be used to give Supergenius level of intelligence?
Not quite. Sorry. A literally infinite scale combined with enormous reality-warping versatility is required, if a character is reaching it through inventions.

Okay, and which character page does that refer to?

There's nothing here that actually constitutes a Genius intelligence rating, none of Toji's listed feats like planning against Gojo's abilities would be anything beyond Gifted. It lists Maki and Naoya looking up to Toji as a fighter even though what they were amazed by was his strength which doesn't have anything to do with intelligence. As for his comparison to Naobito, there is nothing tying Toji as being more skilled than Naobito which would scale him to Naobito's intelligence. Naobito's reason for being a Combat Genius is due to the nature of his technique requiring him to have a natural born sense of strategic timing and framing to be used effectively without penalties.

He clearly seems to be far beyond real world human combat geniuses, so I do not understand the problem here.
Thing is that only combat intelligence is not usable for Extraordinary Genius or above as linked in that previous reply, otherwise a CRT would be required to change this standard.

I do not think that is an official standard in our Intelligence page.

In that case it may be best to do a CRT at some point over if characters can reach EG or above with only combat intelligence.

Well, blatant/self-evident extremely superhuman combat intelligence obviously qualifies for extraordinary genius in that area.
