Searching for a Book to Read

Have you read any fantasy book where the female Deuteragonist becomes sort of a second Antagonist through the story and the male Protagonist will do everything in his power to bring her back to his side? I don't care if they end up together or just as friends at the end.

Something similar to Naruto and Sasuke's story but with a female and a male as lead characters.
