Pretty sure that draft version of the script was fan-made cause it was just terrible, Neil kidnapped Sidney to "protect" her while he roamed off to kill everyone.
It's worse than Stu's "peer pressure" motive.
Another fact: Stu was supposed to return as a killer in Scream 3 but was rewritten.
Another fact 2: Jill was supposed to be alive and was going to get away with it. Sid was supposed to have amnesia and forget about Jill being the killer. Jill attends university with Sidney as a professor & continues living with the fame she wanted while everyone was unaware of her actions. But someone from her university somehow knew that she plotted the Woodsboro Killings and Jill would return to the mask and we'd witness a Ghostface vs Ghostface scenario.
We honestly got robbed. Ghostface vs Ghostface? That shit's crazy

I'm rewatching Scream. As of now, I'm on the third movie and the amount of contradictions the third movie has is just creating a huge mess, and it's questionable writing is just appalling. Here's my critique: First off, this one I noticed rather quickly: Roman somehow knows where Sidney is even though for the first half of the movie he has no idea where the **** Sidney is. Her location is so unknown to the point that Mark Kinkaid, a detective, has no idea where Sid is. My second point, Roman Bridger as the killer is just shit. The marginal screentime he had before his reveal is just terrible, the first time I watched this movie I thought that having a irrelevent character like Roman was just a bad choice for a killer. My third and last point.. Gale's hair.
Rewatching also got me to realize Scream 2 is the best movie of all 6.

Hi! Just curious, why aren't all Ghostfaces currently scaling to the 4112 joules feat? Is it just that they weren't updated yet or? Cause a lot of them have feat of either harming or overpowering Sidney or characters that currently scale to it. I just noticed it so i was simply curious!

AFAIK, it depends on whether or not Sidney is in her prime, Scream 4 and above shouldn't scale to prime Sidney. Makes me wonder why Sidney doesn't have a prime and middle-age key last time I checked.

I feel like Scream 4 is her prime. That's the time she knows how to properly fight (Charlie vs Sidney). She beat the brakes off of Charlie

Wasn't the logic here that Jill was in a better condition? Jill had more control over what injuries she could do than Sidney and I saw Sidney get utterly destroyed by her despite being able to harm Jill

I don't like the idea that they scale to an unexperienced, young, Scream 1996 Sidney. The difference in fighting skills from Scream 1 to 2 is huge, Sidney managed to beat Mickey quite easily.
As for Nancy, she was beaten and got harmed hand to hand. She managed to pin down Sid with her knife.
