SCP-682 vs. Nicol Bolas

Bolas also doesn't need to kill 1-B 682 to win. He is literally one of the characters alongside Reinhard, GEoM, 1440 etc that made that rule about higher dimensional interference a thing.

He does actually, the rule was made so 682s immortality via 343 would be restricted, not 682s 1-B consciousness

Errrr, no.

The rule was made because "insert number"-D character can't reasonably be asked to beat "insert higher number"-D character just to ensure that the guy in front of him stays dead.

There is absolutely 0 difference between asking him to beat the 1-B self or 343. The point was "It's restricted when you functionally have to fight a higher dimensional being to win". Which is exactly what happens if he needs to kill the 1-B self.

Hell if you want to use the 1-B essence logic, I could make a 682 vs YHVH and the latter would be unable to win.

So hold, I'm a little confussed. OP says 4-A 682. Does the mean no Power Absorption, Reactive Evolution, and Adaptation?

Uh no, all of those things are still allowed.

682 just starts at 4-A.

And no universe bust on death of course.

Ok cool. I guess Bolas could just BFR 682 to some random point in space or time and wait out the week time limit. Only thing I can think of to not inconclusive.

@TheC2

So I can count your vote as a definite vote for inconclusive?

2 for inconclusive bois.

Are we gonna get another stalemate for 682? Which isn't as impressive for stalemating GEOM, because like 10 other characters have done it before, but it's a thing.

But what does "BFR resistance" mean? If Bolas blips 682 100 Billion miles away, does 682 just reappear, or does he have to "walk" back?

Reappear, Bolas could BFR 682 to another universe and 682 would come back just fine

I'll go inconclusive after reading the thread.

So, if this passes, Nicol has stalemated two powerful characters.

K.

This is unanimous i believe.

Time to request this.

Well sure. In Bolas's verse, he's part of the Big Three of multiversal threats, the other two being entire races.

I mean stalemating SCP-682 and GEOM is kinda impressive.

Technically he can erase beings on a level that not even High 1-Bs can bring you back from.

Meh, I still think Bolas wins, but I guess the result is unanimous towards Inconclusive.

I mean, the immortality thing really should be restricted.
