the Chaos God's revival of abaddon causes him to get BFRed, in a way. So as is, Abaddon gets stomped via having to fight a high 3-A.

I don't think it works like that, especially when Drach isn't even 4-A all the time. It was basically just like that because its nature caused it to become way stronger than usual when fighting the Emperor due to Warhammer having the rule of symbolism as an actual force in the form of the warp. It's a bit more than that, but yeah. If the sword gave him that sort of AP he'd just be 4-A.

Abaddon isn't scaled to 4-A. He might be by the end of the Heresy novels, but we'll see.

Sauron, however, definitely isn't 4-A. I just haven't gotten around to reverting him, yet.

He might be upgraded at some point, but that'd be for another thread.
