This may be a bit obvious but I feel its worth pointing out that as fellow Akatsuki both should have basic knowledge on what the other could do.

with this in mind one of kakuzus hearts if I recall has wind release which should allow him the ability to blow the gas away.

The real problem for kakuzu is the army of puppets sasori has + the limited hearts kakuzu has

for kakuzu to win he has to find ways to limit sasoris offensive options while getting sasori to a point where he can target his heart.

For sasori to win he has to hit all of kakuzus hearts

Atm sasori has the advantage but I think it's possible to make an argument for kakuzu

Sasori has a massive numbers advantage going for him, not to mention the poison and the Iron Sand which physically overpowers Kakuzu.

The problem with that is the Iron Sand outscales Kakuzu's attacks and can encompass him to prevent him from using wide spread AoE attacks. Also if Sasori so much as nicks Kakuzu then he's basically screwed.

Yeah having four hearts doesn't mean much if you have one circulatory system full of poison lol. This is a fair point.

Not really. Sasori can just move his puppets away from the jutsu's aoe. And the puppets are weaker than him but doesn't seem by much since both got destroyed by Sakura.

Kakuzu has pretty basic tools compared to Sasori’s legion of puppets and poison. Maybe he could use his diamond armor to defend his hearts, but killing Sasori will definitely be hard for him
