It's a beautiful day outside...

vs.
Darkseid New 52

Sans can Gaster Spam just as fast, and I I think Sans would be the most Determined thing in this universe, so he would have respawn capabilities, seeing as darkseid wants to dominate the universe and destroy the ability to make choices. Sans is in a genocide-like state, fighting a powerful enemy who aims to control everything.

Ok. Saw the speed equalization thread and misunderstood it. But gaster blasters have been shown to be spammed. And the most Determined being in the universe at the time, Sans can respawn.

As much as I love Sans, he's never respawned before, as he doesn't possess determination. Even Undyne (who is stronger than him) was only able to come back once, and she was already melting.

Monsters don't possess powerful SOULs, and therefore don't posssess determination (Undyne being a obvious exception, and look how well it turned out for her (R.I.P.). Kinda a big plot point of the game. Also, Frisk could respawn when Asriel was the most determined being.

No, Frisk was still the most Determined one. Determined enough to pull hopes and dreams into existence, and to keep themselves alive while under a constant giant laser.

God Flowey was more determined than Frisk, and Asriel was literally God Flowey + 1 (even though that somehow leads to ∞ jumps in power).

Also, Chara was the most determined by far, and Undyne was capable of respawning for a bit into a terrifyingly hard boss fight.

Frisk didn't turn Asriel. Asriel realized what he was doing was wrong, and willingly gave up. Only person above Asriel in-verse is the Annoying Dog.

Yeah. Which proves that you don't have to be the most determined to respawn. Which makes the Sans respawning argument moot. Even then, he's never demonstrated it.

No, they couldn't. That was the point of the fight. The reason their SOUL kept going back together with a "But it refused" is because if Frisk DID allow Asriel to fully kill them, they couldn't come back, and Asriel would reset everything. Frisk was technically "dying", but only for a second, as their SOUL remained and brought them back almost immediately. If Frisk had died normally (as in, the way they do at every other part of the game), they would have lost.

According to the lore, the most Determined being in the universe has the ability to respawn
No, only humans can do that. Undyne being the only exception to this.

Sans never showed any use of Determination, even in a minor form, so we can't assume that he had it.
