Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

It is unfortunate that I'm reporting this, but I propose to ban @Shiroiyo for a year or so. I believe all this were intentional by design judging on Shiro's behavior on the forum for the past month, basically all the scans relating to HI3 were all hidden (unviewable) 6 hours ago when I noticed this with some of them (1%) being completely deleted on the entire Honkai Energy page including the Layers section and the potency, range, etc with the exception of the Lord Ravager Manipulation (obviously). This affects the entire Authority section too on Kevin Kaslana and Kiana Kaslana's Authority of Finality tab.

The main reason why I believe this was intentional is because unironically 99% of the scans were hidden (you can still click on the link, but it shows nothing instead of it being deleted or something like that, completely empty), with only 1% of them being actually deleted whether it be by Shiro or by Imgur themselves.

Effective immediately, I'm proposing the Honkai Energy page, and all the HI3 profiles (with the exception of the HI3 profiles made by @Mbpoops) to be put an Outdated Template whilst I would be the one replacing all the scans one by one given the references are there. Honkai: Star Rail would not be affected in any capacity as the cosmology blog is still there and perfectly intact (however, it still suffers minor damage because of this but it's not as terrible as HI3), but any changes regarding HI3 in its current state would unfortunately have to be postponed whether it be an upgrade or a downgrade to the verse because of this situation until this is resolved. It's unfortunately not similar to the Astral_Trinity439 case and this is just the case where the main supporter shoots themselves in the head given it's only Shiroiyo that worked on HI3.

Isn't it possible that his Imgur account got suddenly banned/shadow banned? It happened to me too at one point iirc. (might be wrong tho)
 
Scans being unavailable just means that they should be replaced (which shouldn't be too hard as long as references were properly made to begin with) or removed alongside what they're used for if they cannot be resourced at all. I do not see the need to put a lock down on the verse for this.

That aside, this would be a pretty serious offense if intentional.

No like to replace all the scans would take a very long time, the references are there and they still can be sourced but HI3 as a whole is still a very lengthy game and atm I have to crosscheck every scans for HSR first before even processing to HI3 cause the minor damage contributed to like 5% of the stuff

I'll just apply the CM1 downgrade after crosschecking everything since the Imaginary being CM1 and stuff are hidden anyway and it's going to be removed, but other than that if there's anything else, yeah nah

The scans that got affected were like 90% of HI3, all of them were made hidden by Shiro.

As long as the references still exist, you do not need to be rushed to replace them. I can see an Outdated tag as the supporters do this, but a full on verse lock down is unneeded. It's not as though the scans are no longer in existence.

I mean I only proposed the outdated tag for now, I can't have people "downgrading" it when y'know, all the scans are broken anyway, if it sounds like a verse lock down then atleast, idk cause I don't have the mental required to even respond to the downgrades whilst fixing the scans at the same time. It's not ideal rlly, this also affects my Honkaiverse Plot Manipulation thread as 2 of the main scans were gone

I can help with hi3 whilst you work on reviewing hsr since im more of a hi3 supporter anyway atp. Though my time is very limited cus work n stuff so it will still take a bit

Any upgrades/downgrades based on missing scans would obviously be incorrect since you can point to this issue, so that isn't a problem.

And anything else would usually have the OP provide scans directly so that doesn't intersect here.

Regardless, this should probably be discussed on its own thread. We're better off waiting for Shiroyou to explain themselves.
 
Yeah, me and Nether knew about this a while ago. All my scans are gone, even the ones that aren't related to to scaling got nuked, you can see by this post, I posted a ww2 meme and it isn't there anymore, I am also not able to log on my imgur account, I knew about these problems for a week now, and I was using another account since my recent thread wasn't affected by this. I still have my scan doc so it shouldn't be hard for me to replace them

Alright thanks for clarifying this for the time being, then outdated template is fine I think supposedly until I got them all fixed, the main reasoning for the CM1 downgrade also has their scans hidden for some reason so yeah..

Yeah nvm I'm pulling the 1 year ban if this is the case, I genuinely thought it was intentional cause of the stuff on the Arknights server + them being hidden instead of deleted for some reason
 
This seems to have just been an imgur issue then. And since all of the scans are still available then you can just replace them at your time.

Mind you, this just means "the link doesn't work so the power is invalid" downgrades are not valid. A properly argued CRT is not invalidated because of a missing link, so long as a scan is presented.

Let's move on now.

Smth happened, I was on bad terms with Shiro originally and I thought the broken ones were just the Project Stigma ability addition and the other one + the stuff about nuking HI3 so yeah, could've requested on all purpose thread though mb

I haven’t formed a negative impression of you, rather my observations have led me to a different conclusion than I initially hoped. Instead of acknowledging the issues raised and working to improve, you continue to deny them as if they don’t exist. You need to work on your listening skills and try to understand why people are asking you to stop when they do. Instead of reflecting, you tend to attack others and repeat the same behaviors, which is exhausting for everyone in the community. You also seem to struggle to control your tone, which often results in comments that come across as rude or insulting. I am a patient person, and I am willing to let things go as long as a user is willing to acknowledge their faults and improve. However, I cannot force that same level of tolerance on others, nor can I expect them to babysit a single user indefinitely. That said, since this specific report was never warning worthy on its own to begin with, I think it’s best to move on for now. However, I am asking you to show actual improvement. You are no longer a new member, you should not need to be told the same things repeatedly. Please behave professionally, be respectful, and listen to the feedback others give you.

Since I've kinda been in a similar situation multiple times before with all my scans deleted, here's a few tips of two cents:
  • Contact imgur support and chose option 1 or 3 (account trouble or ban). If one doesn't work, try the other. It usually takes about 7 to 15 days for it to be fixed.
  • Alternatively, you can wait for about a month, and sometimes that fixed it by itself.
Most of them times this kind of situation is cuz of error 429, caused by exceeding the image upload limit being exceeded. This is really not a fixed number (even tho the site claims it is) and depends on how active the server is. Sometimes you can get banned or image-locked for uploading 20~ images in an hour, sometimes takes a 100. There's also an image limit per month or per week

Also, another way to fix this (and this is just another problem about imgur) is to buy imgur emberald. I won't say it's cheap but a few bucks in exchange for far more ease to transfer scans from one site to another is, well, far better, right? And imgur is really picky on what requests they take. If you mention that you bought emerald a few days ago or that you were thinking of buying it, there's an 80% that they'll get it fixed far quicker...

Also, once the account is back on (or alternatively you can try as is but no guarantee in that case), go here and pick the second last option of "copy of my data". They'll prepare a copy of all your images to download at once (note that the time this takes depends on if you have imgur emerald or not)

I'd also suggest just not using imgur after this. But we all now none of the other sites have that "gallery" feature and simplicity where you can add many images to one link lol. So secondbest option is to divide the scan load across multiple accounts.

I disagree, I think we already agreed with Mr Bambu's suggestion. And that was the most generous offer we can give. Also we have permabanned people for being less than half as toxic of a person as Sean. As listed earlier, he was originally banned for a year back in 2021, and was later having that ban extended to permanent when it was revealed that what he did offsite was even far worse (I even heard there was a comment where he has told someone to kill themself). Also, what StrymUltra said wasn't untrue and I it was agreed some of the things Sean said in his "Self defense" kind of reeked of Self Fulfilling Prophecy. What Lephyr said here is also true. His so called defense just didn't hold up and he really has no one to blame but himself instead of blaming everyone else he has a personal grudge against. He also has just far too long of a history of just trying to create more work and/or more drama for various people who work extensively hard on Digimon profiles. And he gets annoying, he keeps asking for scans even though many others have actually already heard the same arguments people like him keep making in repetition all the time. And lots of the scans people talk about were already being discussed at great length and/or used in the profiles. Even when OmegaBronic literally DID give him 100% foolproof evidence, he was still in denial.

And while do agree that this comment was a lot harsher than necessary, I can't entirely blame them over the simple fact that Sean kept exploding over and over again over how much he hates Death Battle, how much he hates Digimon fans just for "Liking it more than Pokemon or thinking the characters are consistently stronger." Or even the fact that he hates other Pokemon fans just for agreeing with the outcome of the Death Battle. He also over looks the fact that lots of Digimon fans are fans of both Pokemon AND Digimon; namely Executor N0. Also, he allegations against StyrmUltra do not hold up. He's calling him "A fake Pokemon fan" even though it's not like one has to hate Digimon (Or any other verse Pokemon is often competed with) and support every "***********" wank people use for Pokemon scaling to be considered a Pokemon fan. And while his Pokemon vs Digimon or Yu-Gi-Oh or Undertale related rants are indeed the worst, those aren't the only places he is toxic. He is reportedly one of the worst blasphemous down players for Legend of Zelda scaling. And he also does have outrageous takes despite blatant facts that say otherwise. I kept advocating to give certain characters "Super Natural Luck" just for a character being stupid lucky despite our own rules listing face value protocol and I and many other staff members pointed out to him. He also kept advocating his favorite characters having extraordinary genius level intelligence despite all the feats he mentioned being Gifted at best and is behind on the whole "We don't give intelligence ratings for Combat intelligence anymore."

Long story short, his infamous history was bad enough to justify permabanning him outright. Banning him for a full year is 100% an act of mercy if anything, and as Mr Bambu and Lephyr both said, we should not accept any appeals to lower it anymore than a year over the simple fact that even banning him for 1 year as opposed to permanent is considered "Extensively generous" compared to his long overdue history and his happen of taking far too many final chances as opposed to just 1 that was agreed back in 2024.

There is no question Sean has been toxic at times, and it's pretty obvious he feels alone with no fan support because he attacks other people in discussions and it's his aggression towards them that chases them away. That part about telling people to hurt themself is news to me though, and if true it's no small deal.

That none of them contributed to his ban. His ban was him going back to the same behavior that led him to his original permanent ban for which he appealed to and given a final warning. He got two extra ones and even a smaller ban after that, and even still went back to the same behavior.

That is the actual reason for his ban.

As I originally said, I wouldn't accept any appeal for his year long ban. However:

None of that was anything I haven't seen before, in fact, he posted the exact same message on my wall. And it sounded like a whole lot of things he was questioning things that were too obvious. Or kept trying to direct a lot of blame away from himself instead of actually acknowledging that he has far too many issues both socially and psychologically. And he needs to let it go just because his favorite verse doesn't always win every debate. More over, his comments still require @StrymULTRA and @Omegabronic side of the story; but I'm quite positive they already both voiced their concerns and may not wish to constantly repeat themselves over and over.

I think simply informing that @AnAverageUsername comment was excessive or uncalled for was the only other thing that was worth taking further action for. But as said, the main reason he posted it was because he was obviously annoyed by the constant temper tantrums Sean regularly throws publicly in nearly every debate he is in.
