Rule Violation Reports - 13

Well, there is a massive difference between being extremely tired and going insane.

That said, I think that in the long run, the only realistic way for the wiki to survive after I eventually leave, is for the staff to accept and apply some regulations that I have talked with the administrators in private about.

This is definitely not the right place to handle that discussion though.

On the spite of that, i noticed another staff-related problem.

ScarletFirefly, a discussion-moderator, has been absent from the wiki for exactly one month, starting from today.

I had already noticed this, but Ant told me we only start worrying about it once said staff member has been gone for months, or close to it.

I'm just pointing this out. I don't want him to be stripped off his position or anything.

SF has not been gone for long enough yet, no.

SF is likely busy because of IRL

They did come back after a hiatus and started being active in some threads only to go back in an inactivity

Sorry for the double-post. You can merge this with my previous post if you want.

Shouldn't we place an (Inactive) next to his\her name?

I missed the FanOfRPG stuff.

I will say my piece: What happened is a shame to say the least. I am very saddened that this happened.

I hope that things work out for Fan.

One thing I would like to say if we do believe this was because of a overinflation of frustration then wouldn't it be more practical to just ban him for a few months to see if he calms down and sorts things out in that time?

He can contact me if he wants to come back, and has calmed down and regained his mental health.

I agree with Ant. If he is still suffering from mental health impairments he may well come back and delete more profiles. He has made his hostility evident; unless he tells us he is fine again it is safer to keep the ban.

Thank you for handling it.

Maybe. You can ban him if he causes trouble

Well, he does not seem able to fit in with this environment and our conventions. It may be best to block him, in lack of better options.

I'm fairly certain Mineral is a sock too. I vividly remember banning someone with the same exact avatar.

Okay. Feel free to ban Mineral.

What should we do about the new guy who tries to affect some kind of ghetto gangster demeanour, and with what seems to be an euphemism for male genitalia as a username?

@Ant

Not sure, but I'll be honest, I didn't think his name was an innuendo. I very well may be wrong but that wasn't what it originally struck me as.

Okay. I find his behaviour suspicious in any case. I do not know if he is a troll playing a game, or somebody who is simply completely unable to fit in with this environment.

Okay. Feel free to block that one as well.
