(RP) War for the Worlds Chapter 2

I start listening to see if I cant hear something like a stream.

"Aliens? What are you talking about." i say to Baki while wandering close to a nearby tree and trying to talk into my comms to see if we can still talk to the commander

 

[Yobo_Blue]

I try to fingure out out which of the trees is the tallest, i then clim down the tree i am currently on

I then try to climb what i think is the tallest tree and see if from the top of it i can spot anything.

You manage to see more then before, but it's clear there's nothing but vegetation for miles around. However, the farther away you look, the more different it becomes. It seems this is some sort of forest isolated from the rest of the area.

I climb down the tree

"There are trees,and only trees for miles. We're stuck"

"The monsters from earlier."

 

[Hl3_or_bust]

"Well shit, and i can't get to the commander either, although, knowing the kind of shit going on, that may not be that supprising." i respond

 

[Overlord775]

"The monsters from earlier."

"I'm not a monster"

I say angrily to Baki.

"What monsters? Do you mean that voice in the blue area from earlier?"

 

[PsychoWarper]

"No the big black insect looking things" I say to Anton.

[ok did i miss something? I don't remember that at all]

[We fought aliens from alien earlier]

"Ok i'm a ******* idiot apparently. I don't think there are any here, but i might be wrong."

To pass time i start digging a hole in the ground

"Should we just pick a direction and head in it?"

"I agree with Blaire. There isn't really much point sitting here doing nothing."

"Why not lets go"

"Ok, let's go"

[Moss most frequently grows on the northern side of trees in the Northern hemisphere, and the Southern side in the Southern Hemisphere (that's what Blaire was talking about earlier), so let's say we go in whatever direction the moss is facing here.]

As you begin walking, you begin to notice something moving in the trees. It's almost imperceptible, but there is something there.

 

[PsychoWarper]

I try to use telepathy on it.

 

[Hl3_or_bust]

I tense up, but continue walking

 

[Yobo_Blue]

You can't seem to connect to it telepathically. It's as if nothing is there at all.

[also, Draigo's telepathy can teleport people he knows to him iirc]

I activate my enhanced senses to help me figure out what the thing in the trees is.

 

[Yobo_Blue]

You can't seem to notice anything other then trees and vines.

 

[DragonEmperor23]

"Guys something's in the trees but even with my super senses I can't see it clearly."

 

[Hl3_or_bust]

"Yeah, i saw that too. Not sure what to do about it though since it seems to have disappeared." i respond

 

[Overlord775]

"It must have some sort of presence concelement magic, stay on guard, it could attack at any moment."

I stay on guard and continue walking.

 

[Yobo_Blue]

The movement continues, only this time, its much more noticeable. It seems the trees and plant life themselves are starting to twitch.

"Come out and face us, you coward !"

i shout.

I then activate Numberology just in case.

"I don't like this. This is unnerving."

 

[Hl3_or_bust]

"Everyone, be ready" i say

 

[Yobo_Blue]

"Come out and face us, you coward !"

i shout.

I then activate Numberology just in case.

You can see the plant life beginning to move, almost as if waking up, and slowly beginning to wrap around your legs.

I try and pull the plants off of me.

i jump away from the vines

"Guys, the plants are alive !"

i then proceed to spam bufu on the vegetation around us.

 

[Hl3_or_bust]

"Alive? **** that noise." i think as i activate Micheal and fire several blasts, obliterating huge swaths of land and the vegitation

I try to briskly move away, but avoid touching plants and making noise. If it's plants moving don't know how these things detect us, it may be possible to avoid them like this.
