Even if Ridley was able to damage the SA-X enough to the point that the Core X would appear, the X would just infect Ridley and that would be that. The SA-X might just infect Ridley form the start and get and instant win. If that isn't counted, the SA-X is full power Samus from the end of Super Metroid, and Samus blew Ridley into a million tiny pieces in that game. The SA-X may have lost to the real Samus in the Fusion Suit, but I don't see why Ridley wouldn't get nuked again in this scenario.

VS Wiki has wrong information regarding Ridley. His prime is at Super Metroid where Samus has far surpassed her old Prime self, proven in Fusion. So, Ridley at base could hurt Samus at her prime ( other than Samus at the end of Fusion, that is her prime plus the new Metroid DNA ). Which doesn't make him stronger than SA-X by no means, since SA-X has the power of Samus from Super Metroid, her prime, plus X DNA.
So, basically, even if Ridley does defeat Samus ( since it will be basically the same matchup ) and is triumphant against SA-X, he will be defeated by the X inside her. Depending on what version of Ridley Neo Ridley copies, a fair matchup would be him against SA-X, since he is also a X and possibly as strong as Super Metroid Ridley.
