Rick Sanchez VS Bill Cipher

Rick with a YEAR of prep? So he can use that time to take his portal-gun and travel all throughout the multiverse to do research on Bill and his potential weaknesses? Meaning he'd totally find out that if Bill is lured into someone's mind and that mind is erased, he can be destroyed?

Easy-peasy then I can tell you exactly how it'd go. Rick makes a "deal" with Bill, let's Bill into his mind, then either Summor or Morty (who he prepped in-advanced) flips a switch and turns on a machine that erases all of Rick's memories and his mind with Bill inside, just like they did to Bill inside Stan's mind in Gravity Falls. Of course, Rick has al'ready uploaded a copy of all his memories' into the machine, as well, that is programmed to upload back into his brain just a couple seconds after the erasure is complete. Bam-boom, done. Bill is gone, erased from existence inside the "mindscape" (I mean until he eventually returns through whatever that incantation does that he secretly used before being erased in the show, but you know with a year of prep Rick would have learned about that too and would have a countermeasure).

In the end he'd be like, "Well Morty and Summer *uuuurrrrp* those multi-universal reality-warping, interdimensional dream-demon-god types, ya see, they can be REAL tricky, yeah and they're just the worst ya know, but NOBODY's trickier than your good old *uuuuurP* Grandpa Rick! HEEEYO! It's get time to get riggity-riggity-WRECKED, son, I just killed a demon-god!" Then he starts doing some kind of crazy alien drugs (that are of course illegal in EVERY universe) while binge-drinking. THE END! What a heartwarming story.

Lmao I frigging love Rick and Morty, it's the greatest show of all time.

rick, I mean if he gets even a minute of prep he'll find a way to win. A whole year he'll defintally win.
No, sorry, but that is not true, you're wanking Rick too hard now. He'd be SCREWED with only a minute of prep, and no previous knowledge whatsoever of who or what Bill is. Bill on the other hand can see across all realities with his perception and should know already who Rick is, if we're positing they exist in the same multiverse here.

I'd say anything more than 12 to 24 hours prep and Rick would have this. If he had the name Bill Cipher and an image of what the dude looks like (a triangle with an eye and funny little hat, pretty damn simple) I'm sure he could VERY quickly dig up all the info he needs by traveling throughout the multiverse breaking into places and stuff with his portal-gun.
