Chrono-Experimental Implant
- Afterthought’s greatest weapon is his real-time foresight, letting him see five seconds into the future through advanced quantum analysis. This precision makes him nearly unbeatable, predicting attacks, shifts, and openings before they happen. His skill is so refined it neutralizes Midnighter’s Battle Computer, flipping what should be an easy win for Midnighter into a brutal display of inevitability.
- Afterthought boasts he could take down Deadshot before he even pulls the trigger—a bold claim, but one even Deadshot doesn’t completely deny.
- Prometheus explicitly states that he has kill plans for every active superhuman, and Afterthought’s precognition is what allows him to account for every possible move the JLA could make.
Physical Capabilities/Skill
- Afterthought proves his combat skill by dropping Black Canary with a knee strike while simultaneously landing a precise hit on The Ray—despite his lightspeed abilities.
- Afterthought effortlessly deflects Midnighter’s strikes, counters with a blood-drawing elbow strike, and overwhelms him with a precise flurry of attacks, securing a flawless knockout without taking a single hit.
- Afterthought effortlessly counters Black Canary while simultaneously battling Lobo. Using his Chrono-Experimental abilities, he skillfully manipulates the fight, causing Lobo to accidentally knock her out.
- Afterthought intercepts Lobo mid-charge, stopping him cold with a perfectly timed elbow strike—hitting hard enough to knock a tooth straight out of the Main Man’s mouth.
- Afterthought completely outmaneuvers Lobo, keeping him on the defensive with ease. At one point, he even turns his back mid-fight to taunt Black Canary, all while landing precise, brutal strikes. Despite Lobo’s legendary durability, the beating leaves him visibly damaged.
