Afterthought

Afterthought, whose real name is Afa, is a character introduced in DC Comics' Midnighter Vol. 2 #9 in April 2016. Created by writer Steve Orlando and artist ACO, Afterthought stands out due to his unique ability to see five seconds into the future, thanks to experimental precognition implants embedded in his brain. This foresight makes him an exceptional hand-to-hand combatant, as he can anticipate and counter his opponents' moves with remarkable precision. His combat rig further enhances his superhuman stamina, allowing him to endure prolonged battles. Throughout his appearances, he has been associated with the Suicide Squad and Prometheus.

We will examine his capabilities in these 3 Categories

Conclusion

Afterthought is a cold, calculated foe who’s always five steps ahead with five seconds of precognition. Even Deadshot admits he’d be down before firing. He floors Black Canary, intercepts The Ray at lightspeed, and even knocks a tooth out of Lobo—all while taunting. Plus, his suit keeps him fighting indefinitely. Simply put, with perfect foresight, elite skills, and endless endurance, he’s nearly unbeatable.
