Jack Beans is the protagonist of the comic miniseries "A Calculated Man" by Aftershock Comics published back in 2022. Beans is a mathematical genius with a perfect memory, Jack once served as the accountant for the Pinafore crime family. His exceptional skills led him to realize that his only escape from this life was through death or entering Witness Protection, prompting him to turn state's evidence and flee. Now, with the Pinafores determined to eliminate their former accountant, Jack leverages his mathematical prowess and perfect recall to outmaneuver and eliminate those who seek to kill him.

At the final rooftop, Jack was waiting, holding a sniper rifle aimed down at the street. The last goon called him out, but Jack casually stated that he had already been reduced to zero, according to his equation. Suddenly, a shot rang out from the left, splattering the goon's brain matter onto the ground. Meanwhile, Jack turned his sights on the two goons who had given up the chase, sniping them as they drove away in their car.
