Regeneration Question

So I've heard, but there's been pushback on a character getting that level of regen for such a feat, on the basis of their biomass being broken down into still-organic matter such as protein and lipid molecules, and still being in a more or less solid state (GI tract contents and eventually fecal matter) as opposed to something less cohesive such as ash.

Was the character digested?

Yes. They were killed by it but it was due to a loophole in their powers (they could recuperate from any attack, but they were killed and eaten without any violent intent), and it's strongly implied they would have come back from it if it had counted as an attack.

Mid high seems fine m, but if it has more context, on how much he got digested then it can be pushed to High

You're talking about Makima, aren't you?

I should've guessed it before , but wasn't sure if it really was makima, idk cuz I dropped manga after denji ate her in dinner, so did she regenerated after that?
No, but Kishibe strongly implies that it was due to Denji finding a loophole in her contract that he was able to keep her dead, inferring that she could have regenerated from becoming breakfast, brunch, lunch, mid-afternoon snack, dinner, and dessert if Denji had eaten her with violent intent as opposed to it being a weird act of love (did you know that Fujimoto once ate one of his goldfish after it died cuz he felt bad about the idea of it getting eaten by bugs if he buried it?)
While Kishibe's knowledge of Makima is quite incomplete, he does know pretty much all there is to know about how Devil contracts work, as his Devil hunting know-how is second only to his mentor/former hunting partner Quanxi.

So if anyone or Denji didn't eat her as an act of Love she would have regen?
