Regarding 8 bit theatre

I honestly fail to see how it counts as fanfiction. I mean, the plot, characters etc. are only superficially comparable to those from the original game, and their powers are interpreted completely differently.

I mean sure, maybe at the beginning it could be considered a loose retelling the original game, but it rapidly spirals out into a completely different and bizzare plot with occasional references to the game so we still remember it's supposed to be a parody.

There's really a big difference from that and say, some AO3 thing that's gotten famous. Not to mention it has at the very least ONE tier 1 character, so yeah.

We have already talked about this. If we allow one verse of fan characters based on notable official works, we end up on a slippery slope towards accepting more of them.

As far as I remember, people wanted to use its inclusion as justification for inserting more fan characters into the wiki, so we ended up deleting it to avoid this happening again.

So, my apologies, but it stays deleted.
