Real World animal profiles

I'm already working on the composite Cat profile. I have enhanced senses, superhuman physical characteristics, and climbing, but I doubt there will be much more to it.

If by any chance you can find anything worthy of noting that should be added to the profile, then feel free to add it once I post it.

Hmm, are you going include the saber-toothed cat?

Just for fun, I would like to make an Ostrich profile. Not even a composite one, just an Ostrich.

It's stated to have the kicking strength to kill humans with a single kick. I think this is an obvious Street Level feat.

However, this site states that it can one-shot lions with kicks as well.

http://www.onekind.org/education/animals_a_z/ostrich/

I'm a bit unsure about one-shotting lions, assuming that they have Wall Level durability. Do you think this site is credible? Would 9-C, possibly 9-B be alright?

I already made the Ostrich profile.

Which one should we discuss next? I would like to clear out all the accepted suggestions I currently have before we make more.

We still have the T-Rex, Composite Octopus, and Gorilla.

I have an upgrade for the Composite Fish.

So it turns out that the Sailfish is not the fastest fish, but the Black Marlin, at 80 mph.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_marli

Using the 2,300 kg sturgeon fish, this brings the Composite Fish to 1470857.445376 Joules, still 9-B.

However, using the Prehistoric Bony fish, this would bring the Composite Fish up to 17404400.34983936 Joules. That is 9-A.

I'm going to add "9-B, possibly 9-A" to the profile.

Try not to use entire families of animals. They're all pretty broad categories, with some exceptions. Like "Composite Therapod".

I've actually been considering a composite dog page.

But I don't think the composite canine would have much to offer other than sheer stats.

Greyhounds are the fastest at 20 m/s, which is Superhuman.

With the heaviest dog, an English Mastiff at 155.6 kg that should put him at 31,000 Joules, which is justified because they can sometimes attack by tackling. Wall Level.

It seems weird putting dogs at Wall Level, because by that logic NOBODY would've ever been able to contain a dog. Heck, even if you use the average "Giant Dog Breed Weight" according to Wikipedia, which is 50 kg, you'll still get wall Level (10,000 Joules) with the Greyhound's m/s. I'm a bit skeptical about this one.

It's up to you, it would be unfair to deny "a man's best friend" though.

I don't see Composite Lizard getting anything impressive in terms of AP, but perhaps they could provide for a bit more versatility than some of the other animals we've covered so far.

However, I do recall that Buffaloes are common prey to Komodo Dragons. That's likely a pretty good feat.

Following this thread.

My question: would it be better to make profile for composite Theropod instead of T.rex, composite Bovid instead of Cow and African buffalo, the same for Saltie Croc, Brown Bear and Ostrich? I mean, we have a profile for Great White, Megalodon AND Composite Shark. Note that I'm not suggesting to disregard profiles for individual species or anything, just curious :?

Sorry for the somewhat late reply.

Thanks GKS for reviving the thread.

But anyways, I don't think we need a composite profile for every group of species we have listed on here. For one, I'm pretty sure there aren't that many bears that possess notable differences as far as abilities go, same thing for the bovine, ostrich, etc.

I'm not even sure if the composite animals deserve their listings on the Real World page, because they're all hypothetical merges and don't really exist IRL. Perhaps they could get their own verse, but I'm not sure.

composite bear is impressive too

largest bear is 2 tonned south american giant short face

fastest bear is 30+MPH

good swimmer and good cilmb so
