Rayne Vs. Kai (BO2). Kain use the Iron Armor along with the Iron Sword and his Axes; this version do not use magic so no need to restrict anything. Speed is equalized and the battle takes place in a Necropolis like this one.
Kain seems more impressive in general, save for the fact that Rayne can summon a spirit double to help her out. Assuming all of his powers are combat-applicable, he should be capable of dealing with Rayne, albeit with some difficulty.
His only really threatening issues would've been Rayne's Dilated Perception and the afforementioned spirit double (since Rayne can drain vampires the same way she drains anyone else with no ill effects), but the former isn't usable in a speed equalized match I don't think?, and shapeshifting into mist probably nullifies anything the latter could be useful for.
Time Slow and Speed Amplification are allowed in speed equalized matches, so Dilated Perception is can still be used. All of his magic attack are combat-applicable.
Yes, mist form makes Kain intangible to physical attacks, but supernatural attacks made of energy (like magic blasts and similar) are still capable to damage him.
Is that a definite answer? Because I keep asking whether or not those amps are allowed in matches now, and I keep getting different answers.
If that is the case, Rayne has a bit more of a chance. Even if they're at the same speed, activating Dilated Perception makes her hilariously faster than him for a short period of time, and Blood Rage/Blood Fury could potentially close the AP gap at least somewhat.
Rayne doesn't have any magic attacks or energy abilities, but she does have access to Blood Flame. Is he vulnerable to fire-based attacks while in mist form?
Time slow has always been okay, but it was only recently that I heard speed amps are allowed now as well. Except, at least two people have told me otherwise since then.
