One of Gaia's main character traits is that he's a psychotic murderer. He literally has Kill in his name lol, if he didn't try to kill Yharim it'd be way out of character

Which is specifically why Yharim would want him dead as soon as possible, the man wants to replace everything with his "perfect" order and Kill-Gaia would get in the way of that pretty hard
