Quick Zeref Revision [Fairy Tail]

Pretty quick revision.

Zeref’s soul manipulation and empathic manipulation resistance lists that he was unaffected by Larcade’s pleasure magic/ resistant but this isn’t true.
Soul Manipulation (Is able to resist Franmalth's Soul Absorption, and was unaffected by Larcade's Pleasure Magic, which effects the soul), Empathic Manipulation(Resisted the effects of Larcade's Pleasure Magic
He was effected by it, which is one of the reasons he told Larcade to call off the spell.

At first I was gonna say it should just be changed to something like
“Zeref cannot be killed by Pleasure, which soul rips its victims” but that doesn’t actually speak for soul rip resistance, just proves that soul ripping him won’t kill him.

Therefore he should lose that as reasoning for his soul manipulation resistance and he should lose empathic manipulation as a whole, as it effected him just as much as basically everyone else it was used on, which shows he wasn’t resistant to the empathic part at all.

Also as a side note does Zeref ever directly resist Franmalth’s soul rip? If not then soul manipulation resistance should probably be removed from his page as a whole.

Kinda confused on why Larcade's spell is considered soul manipulation at all. All it does is overstimulate the pleasure senses until the target dies. Their souls would "ascend to the heavens" because they'd die. How is that anymore soul manipulation than stabbing someone to death.

Zeref has resistance to the absorption of souls from the franmalth due to him saying that none of his demons were able to kill him and even though they were loyal to Zeref, they still had that order within their cells, so they definitely tried to use their skills to kill Zeref, but it must not have worked.

Then it should be removed, and replaced with soul absorption resistance

We should reword this yeah, what it means to say is that Larcade could not yeet Zeref's soul out of his body, not that he's completely unaffected

Is there any proof that he couldn’t though?

All we really know is that he couldn’t use it to kill him, which doesn’t mean he couldn’t remove his soul from his body since immortals like Mavis and Zeref can’t die from soul rip

I slightly disagree with the OP, as it's missing some context. Pleasure completely incapacitates whoever it affects with immense pleasure. Even incredibly intelligent individuals like Mavis can barely produce coherent sentences at best. Most of the other mages affected by it can't even produce that much. Zeref and Irene, for that matter, were able to utilize magic during this, which takes large amounts of concentration to be able to use.

So, I think that it should be changed to limited resistance to empathic manip since while technically Zeref was still affected, he was able to resist most of its effects, Irene should also get this resistance as well.

As for Soul manip, Zeref resists his own curse when it's not amped by love, which rips the soul from the body, so he and Mavis would still keep their soul resistance.
