Questions about robots, machines, cyborgs etc ...

Hello everyone, I was wondering if we should consider than unless stated otherwise robots, machines and a few cyborgs should be immune to mind reading, all forms of mind manipulations, soul manipulation, most psychic attacks etc ... due to their nature.

And if yes, I wondered if we should add that to almost all robots and machines and a few cyborgs that can potentially be immune. Thank you in advance for your replies.

Kinda, cyborgd has indead soul and mind since they (in theory) born, robots and machines in other hand doesn't have any of them. That is standard assumption, if the verse state otherwise then we go with that, ex: the Robot from Cuphead has soul.

Alright so you think it's legit? Unless the verse robots and machines come from states they have a soul and/or a mind we should add that to profiles of robots and machines? (that's gonna be long but it's gonna be more accurate if we precise that).

Ah also for cyborgs I think we should of course use the opposite logic: they'll receive modifications only if th verse they come from states they're immune to mind attacks and/or soul manipulations.

Thank you for your answer!

No need for change anything as far I can see, any robot or machine is assumed to have lack of soul/mind, if it has an in verse explication then it should be noticed in the profile; otherwise, just a minor content revision should be enought.

Ok, it makes sense. I didn't know we assumed they were immune to that. Thanks for taking time to reply.

some robots got a soul other then that robot, such as mettaton, but mettaton got that already
Is it precised on his profile than due to such he can be affected by soul manipulation?
