Question for Ash Ketchum's durability

Yeah, they should also scale. It's true that much of their defeats are gags but they happen consistently and there is, to memory, nothing to contradict them scaling to it.

Although, I would note that it's extremely doubtful for them to be blasted off by, say, Pikachu going all out. Ash has consistent feats of handling enraged or bloodlusted Pikachu's attacks. So I would scale TR based on what level of AP they have displayed the ability to tank.

If you wanna go that route, James has tanked a bloodlusted Victreebel trying to eat him.

Also, they usually tank the very same thunderbolt that KOs their own pokemon, so its 7-A anyway because otherwise Arbok and Weezing wouldnt be affected.

I'd say feats like that should be properly analyzed and argued to decide if they are legitimate Durability feats. If James can tank a bloodlusted Victreebel then him scaling to 7-A (and likely Jessie and Mewoth who are comparable) would be completely reasonable.
