question about the outer gods and the 'archtypes'

So I was browsing through the profiles of Cthulhu mythos entities and I noticed in the description of the ultimate gods that they are (the ultimate gods) a mere facet of those 'archetypes' that are tier 0 but I cant see a profile about these so-called 'archetypes'. are the outer gods and the archetypes the same thing or am I missing something?

cause I also looked in the 'power of the verse section' for Cthulhu mythos and found statements about the 'archetype's and a 'supreme archetype' but couldn't find any profile referencing the 'archetypes' or the other 'supreme archetype' I saw there. do these matter or am i thinking too much?

Honestly the whole Archetypes thing is self-contained and exclusive to the collaborative story Through the Gates of the Silver Key, and shouldn't be used as a basis for the rest of Yog-Sothothery.

from what i can read they seem to be separate things. with the ultimate gods for example being a fragment of thier archetype?

The distinction between the Ultimate Gods and the Archetypes was debunked in the 1.5 Cthulhu Mythos CRT; they just neglected to update the page. I'll handle it later.
