So saitama got downgraded to multi continent, why is that? didn't the author mentioned that boros's attack was able to destroy stars? sorry if there's probably a thread about this i just cant find it

To explain briefly, the kanji for planet and star are similar so we take it as planet. The context of the statement implies he didn't erase, but simply shave some parts of the Earth hence Multi-Continental. Also like Imaginym said, wrong forum.

You have to pay attention to the context, the kanji hoshi/星 in Japanese used to refer to a planet or a star, not only a star. About the Boros's context, he said he would aim for the Earth (more precisely, he declared himself to destroy Saitama along with "the surface of the Earth"), not the Sun. Moreover, a databook was not written by the author One.
