Question about Mind Manipulation

Coming from Doremy Sweet vs Kirby.

If a character of a Verse has "Resistance to Mind Manipulation" via being able to resist one method of Mind Manipulation does this mean that the character can resist all the methods of Mind Manipulation?

Needless to say, this is different from one character having a more powerful mind hax than what the other character resisted.

Unlike say, Reality Warping, Mind Manipulation generally works two ways, biological or through some energy / magical properties. Resisting biological would only offer resistance to biological mind manip, whereas the latter (being a better version) would straight up grant Mind Manipulation Resistance.

Like I said, if you're able to resist your mind being affected in one way, you'd generally be unaffected by your mind being affected in another yet similar way, unless it's something specific stated in-universe.

But would it be all types of Mind Manipulation? As in destruction, control, memory, etc.

@Dragon that's more complicated. Mind Destruction > General Mind Manipulation / Control and sometimes memory manip could either be better than general or worse depending on its effects.

So let's say you resist Mind Destruction, do you automatically resist Mind control. I just wanna how far down this rabbit hole goes. Ovo

You should, mind control is basically altering your mind, mind destruction destroys your mind, if you can resist it being reduced to a clean state, you should be able to resist it being different. Although some fictions treat it differently.
