Question about madness manipulation

Basically, if a family is abusive af towards their children and their upbringing makes them mentally unwell, hateful, spiteful, severely traumatized, suicidal and etc - does it counts as madness manipulation or it's something else (Social influence for example)?

nothing, this is pretty reality-grounded thing, that has nothing with social influencing, let alone madness hax, unless there are supernatural power involved here
