Question about durability

So I have been on the wiki for a few monthes now, and i was just wondering. If a character with superior durabiltity, such as like, Captain America or Midoriya, if a character such as these were shot by an AK-47 for example, would it even affect them in a VS Battle? I know that the attack potency of an AK is not on the level of the durability of these characters, i was just wondering if it would even harm them in a VS Battle.
