Question about Avatars and Type 9

Since we established that Type 9 immortality protects someone's avatar from several levels of destruction, possibly even higher dimensional ones, I've been thinking:

What happens if the avatar gets incapacitated, sealed, or BFR'd? Can't his true self just create another avatar to fight instead?

Depends on how the Type 9 is handled, simply. Some may be more limited like Madotsuki, who can't just create avatars whenever she wants. But some might probably be able to create more avatars.
