Pulling an Island Floating in Water?

So here's the problem. I was asked to calc this:

Problem is Broque Monsieur specifically stated that the island was floating in the water. When I looked into it, apparently there's no such thing as friction in liquids, which is bothersome, but it is what it is. Is there any way possible to calculate the feat of pulling an island floating in the water?

Friction does exist in liquids (to an extent), like why it would be easier to swim through water compared to honey. I wanna possibly suggest something along the lines of drag force.
