I'm trying to make a page, but when I try to upload an image it won't let me, a pop-up shows up saying "permission error", or something similar.

If it did, it would just show a prompt to rename the file

That prompt comes up before you hit upload, but after you do it displays "permission error".
Try uploading it on another site (like imgur) then linking that here, and we can see if we can upload it.
