So a character basically spits on the ground saying that some specific person is going to land in this spot. Several minutes later, that very character lands in the very spot that the person spat on by getting flung a distance after being released from a rope when the vehicle they were attached to turned suddenly. Does this count as a form of Probability Manipulation?

He did say that that person would land there by the laws of nature. Everyone even doubted him until minutes later when that person landed in that very spot. Would that count?

No, Loser from Battle for Dream Island does not have probability manipulation because of a stroke of luck during a single episode. Read the Statements page to learn more about reliable statements.

Loser's statement was a reference to the term "X marks the spot", and it coincidentally came true. Loser is a contestant and a celebrity in this fictional work, who's only portrayed as smart with socializing, music, and playing with toys, so he has no reason to know the precise details about how the laws of physics work. A subsequent scene shows that Loser was unlikely to have been sincere. When Firey questioned Loser's reliability, he internally was very stressed about a fan doubting him, so he replied that if Firey believes it will work then it will work, with Firey agreeing to try believing harder, then Loser internally said "phew" as if he was almost caught lying. Clearly the work of a pseudoscientist. It made sense for him to not want to admit that the team should try a different strategy, because he loves fulfilling people's expectations of him, and usually contestants feel like they rely on him for leadership when he's on their team, so Loser likely didn't want to be considered a disappointment.

In conclusion: Loser said what he said about X marking the spot in a childish and/or superstitious sense. When his teammates questioned him and when he realized that his plan was foolish, he was reluctant to admit that he was wrong, but his popularity allowed him to not be dismissed for a little longer, which was long enough for the other team's actions to coincidentally and accidentally lead to Loser's plan being successful, so Loser ended up looking cool in the end. That's the joke; Loser was incorrect, but he was undeservingly successful anyway.

Even if this were to be how the laws of nature work in BFDI, (which is unlikely to be the case as I explained in the previous message,) then it still wouldn't be an ability of Loser. This event would be Loser taking advantage of how reality works in this fictional work. As a comparison example, if you flapped your hand towards you on a hot day to try making yourself a little colder, that doesn't mean you have air manipulation and temperature manipulation. That would simply be you taking advantage of how air and temperature work in reality. So, if it were to be a rule in BFDI that X will always mark a spot of saliva, this wouldn't be specifically something that only Loser can do, and would be a weakness that X would have if anything. Loser was just the only one who demonstrated this supposed law. On the off chance that he used insightful knowledge to his advantage and wasn't just talking nonsense, anyone else in BFDI who knows about this could replicate it.
