Possible GoW Upgrade Calc

I found this calculation that found the Kinetic Energy of Zeus' Death in GoW3 to be Small Planet level.

Is this calc legitimate? And if so, will it be able to upgrade the High Tiers of the Verse to Planet level? As there are also multiple planetary feats brought up, and Atlas' Hammer is stated to have the weight of the whole world behind it.

I've seen shadier stuff get chosen. You've got my vote in favor, it doesn't mean everybody is planet now but heck, it's a good high end and appliable for both Zeus and POH Kratos. If the new game's feats hold true, then this should be factual.

The only problem is that the feat isn't even true. There is 0 evidence that Zeus covered the world in cumulunimbus clouds.

Yeah, I figured as much.

That dude from the Dante/Kratos Rematch put this up and tried to use it as a legit argument. It wasn't even on the profile, and the calc itself is inapplicable as well.

Typically, Word of God statements are discarded when the devs are clearly blowing feats out of proportion outside the actually story.

It is only legit if it clears up what the feat actually implied, like Goku and Beerus destroying the universe. They were stated multiple times IN UNIVERSE that they were going to. So if you asked Akira if that was indeed true, and he said yes, then THAT would be legit. At least, that's what I believe.

So just, no WoG's at all? Cause I'm pretty sure there might be some that still use them for justification.

Ironically, the GoW fanboy threw WoG statements around here and there.

Call me a fanboy all you want. I could literally care less about your opinion. You even pretended i was an idiot and then said i was "triggered" (which is ironic) despite me never insulting anyone in the entire the read.

And no, the Discussion Rules clearly state WoG is only unusable if it contradicts the series. Which it doesn't all.

Oh, really.
Matt, you think he didn't insult anyone? MATT?
Let's review you in the Dante thread:

  • Said i was triggered, despite me never insulting anyone
  • Pretended i was an idiot by bolding the words and capitalizing them several times while i was replying to you.
  • Called me a fanboy because i replied to your "Yamato can cut through anything" argument.
Me:

  • You will have a lot trouble finding any insult coming from me on that thread. At all.
You

Me

No, I said triggered as in I was triggered. Because you were using WoG statements to justify you're arguments. Nevermind the fact you were using feats and statements that are no where to be found on his profile. Unless they are, they cannot be used.

You know what, this is going nowhere, and I am not going to argue like a child with you, and get myself in trouble with admins. Someone please close this.

Yeah. WoG statements that not only were well within the rules of discussion, but also clarified what happened in an in-game scene.

Nevermind the fact you were using feats and statements that are no where to be found on his profile. Unless they are, they cannot be used.

In-game feats > profiles. I'm not going to downplay a character because someone forgot to include an ability in their profile and then locked it.

You know what, this is going nowhere, and I am not going to argue like a child with you, and get myself in trouble with admins. Someone please close this.

I agree.

^Maybe we should ask the devs.
Yeah, that is a BIG no.

Word of God statements are a no go for the site now. As a matter of fact, it was DANTE BEING UNIVERSAL that started it in the first place.

Ironically, the GoW fanboy threw WoG statements around here and there.
Dunno, WoG is legit at times. Just not with many videogames unless they're mostly by the same guy and said guy knows his shit. In this case there are too many variables but we can't be all cocky and pretend we know more than the people making the stories.

BTW, I never said Yamato can cut through anything as a NLF. I meant it can cut through anything via Spatial Manipulation. Which Kratos has no Resistance to, and if he does, it is not on his profile.

Also, you are one to talk with Kratos having

Infinite Speed for speeding through a timestop

No time hax whatsoever will work on him via his Resistance feats

Yamato's a NLF

Kratos "controls his own destiny" because he resisted Plot Manipulation, so he can make himself win

Kratos will be able to fend off Dante's entire arsenal with one arm.

To hell with Universal Dante though. Can't believe the DB fanon wiki believes that nonsense.
No bashing. But, to say it because it popped into my head, they also think Electro can beat Cole MacGrath.

For the love of- Can you guys get on topic for one moment? (Universal dante flashbacks) In short, at best we can do is put him at 'Possibly Low 5-B' since it is a statement. And even then, I am skeptical of taking this seriously. It seems rather highballed.

Kepekley23 , if I were you I'd be very concerned for your future on this wiki.
I never broke any rule of the wiki. List the rules i've broken.

...

Yeah, none. The only rule i broke was passively insulting someone once in the past GoW upgrades, but i quickly apologized for that and never did it again.

Go ahead and ban me for defending myself from an insult.

I have taken a look at your wall, you also have a bad history with sloppily editing profiles, which Antvasima has messaged you about numerous times.

Actually, only once, and i never did it again.

No dude, the calc is a no go. There is no proof Zeus even covered the whole world. On top of that, the Earth in GoW is flat, making calcing it properly even more difficult.

Also, the argument against the calc is the fact that there is no proof Zeus's death had a planetary AoE.

There's no proof Poseidon's death actually flooded the entire world. We assume it because he is stated numerous time to have control over all oceans in the planet.

There's no proof (actually there is.. ) Helios's death covered the entire world in shadows. We assume it because he is the God of the Sun.

Similarly, we should assume Zeus's death affected the world because every single God with planetary AoE, when dead, did affect the planet.

Is that even a Dev? It looks like a random girl on twitter?

Even still, WoG. Not valid. It is also the flimsiest statement ever. All she said was, "A world-changing event"

I am kinda tempted to copy and paste the calc and put it in evaluations. Even tho I hate GoW fandom. I do think even as a statement, it qualifies under 'possibly'

Yeah, but well, fights are always decided by a single user.

Ariel Lawrence is a writer.

No. The Discussion Rules clearly state WoG is only invalid if it contradicts the series. You don't get to handwave a confirmation from one of the writers of the series.

I guess? I am more inclined to be faithful towards math then anything else. Derailment aside, I guess I am neutral on this. It just depends to me if the math is okay. If it is, fine. If not, then ehh, whatever.

She also said "so yes" refering to the original question, meaning that it did cover the world instantaneously. Just analyzing.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2599432/ She did write for three games so I am inclined to take her word more seriously then most. I will copy and paste the calc with credit and post in evaluations. I still think by our wiki standards, we can qualify this as 'Possibly Low 5-B'

If that was the case, Universal Dante would still be legit.

We declined universal dante via outlier. Outlier is something out of the norm. High 6-A to Low 5-B is far more believable then say.. High 6-A to 3-A.
