Possible downgrade for Chaos from Sonic

So I was debating vs this guy and went to see how his Mid-High regen worked and found this
Regeneration (Mid-High; Regenerated from shattering after being turned into ice to fight Knuckles, and did it again after losing to him, as seen in Super Sonic's story)
Isn't this just High-Mid?

Yes, that's just high-mid. He would've had to regenerate from being turned into ash, smoke, dust, or vapor to qualify for mid-high

The reason it was mid-high was because we see nothing of Chaos after he is shattered, and he regens from the Egg Carrier being destroyed, too. I think there was a thread about this still open.

Sonic the hedgehog abilities

So some of the abilities for Sonic kinda throws me off, especially with either the lack of evidence or arguments that don't make sense. If there's any further explanations on these abilities I'd be happy to see them. Classic Sonic: Toon Force and elasticity: Is this considered toon force for...

Given the processing power from back then, it is most likely that they had the ice disappear to make it easier on the game
