Emerald Power should count as the user amping themselves with the emerald they possess, as it is described as harnessing the power of the Chaos Emeralds.

Those who utilize Emerald Powers gain:
High 4-C with Emerald Powers

Large Star level with Emerald Powers (Has been shown to be capable of harnessing the power of a Chaos Emerald through Emerald Powers, with a single Chaos Emerald being able to shift large planetary fragments at high speeds)
Value: 0.941089 Foe (Feat [0.4705445 Foe] x Amount of Chaos Emeralds [1] x Multiplier of Chaos Emeralds combined [2^1])

Characters this applies to:
Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Trip (All Classic Era)

Games where Emerald Powers appear:
While this presents a potential issue for our current scaling regarding bosses in Superstars withstanding these attacks, it can be argued that they weren't used under the guise of them being gameplay bonuses like we consider Super Forms. (but this will no longer be a problem if the scaling I have for Classic Era gets accepted in the possible future)

IMO there are too many inconsistencies for this to work as a tier buff.

Not only can the Core Four get knocked out of their Emerald Powers when hit, they so-called "empowered" Trip's fireballs succumb to a regular Metal Fighter ring field. So IMO it's not narratively supported enough. And that's without saying that I'm very sure it requires the same amount of hits regardless (not like it'd matter if it didn't, as that would be HP scaling which is a no-go).

So I have to disagree with any of the Emerald Powers being a buff to their stats in such a significant way.

Would this work once it becomes merely a 2x boost when it comes to a hypothetically updated Classic Era stats? It could be chalked up to the ring field being stronger than such powers. We're shown that the Duplicate emerald power quickly disabled the Hammer Egg Robot that could leave Sonic dazed with it's attacks in the Start Book, but when it comes to the game, it can withstand more than that.

Eh... that would probably stand a better chance at getting accepted because a 2x difference is less severe (but note that it varies verse-to-verse, a 2x difference in one verse may be insignificant but might be overwhelming to another). I don't think we have a statement leaning either way so idk.

Normally a 2x boost is significant but not enough for it to be able to turn around a stomp for example. If the boost is treated in a way that’s too insignificant or too significant then it’s inconsistent following the multiplier standards this site uses, Sonic can get away with this since it’s never treated in any specific way

I agree with this.

You know, not really a fan of using gameplay and calling that a narrative inconsistency to use against a statement. Super Forms in this game can be used in the same way the Emerald Powers (it's part of the same gameplay mechanics used to activate them) do in fights and it would still take multiple hits to take a boss down. The only time we're shown an Emerald Power being used offensively in a narrative is one where it immediately takes out a threat that could greatly harm Sonic, where otherwise that doesn't happen in gameplay, and you know we prioritize the former over the latter.

I don't know why I didn't argue against that in the first place, but better late than never I guess.

Yet you want to using a manga for game canon despite it being promotional material at best; your example is Sonic using Avatar to swarm the Hammer Egg Robot with a bunch of clones when the others don't get higher AP just because there were a bunch of copies to throw the same punch.

Several of the Emerald Powers have nothing to do with strength and everything to do with gimmicks, and even the combat-oriented only do things like duplication to swarm an enemy and don't actually increase the power (at best all it does is improve DPS). Are these now linear stat multipliers?

I still disagree with this and 100% know this would be an easy way to get our stats nuked into a downgrade.

Yeah, harnessing their power as in getting those abilities.
Why taking the statement at face value when we got the context from the same scan.
"Multiply, swim up waterfalls, change form and more with the power of the chaos emeralds"
It's talking about getting those abilities, thus harnessing the power of the chaos emeralds, same way hyper mode in fighters is just speed amplification and not a super form level.
