They called me a mad-man, they said I wouldn't do it...well I certainly proved them wrong! Anything can be calculated/powerscaled/have a profile made if you really put your mind and heart to it!

Jokes aside, I haven't made a character profile yet, and wanted to get a little experience under my belt before tackling characters I care about and want to do right. A silly conversation about VS debates in my Discord DMs compelled me to make a joke profile for the Pong Paddle from Pong: The Next Level...mostly because of nostalgia of playing this game as a kid and remembering it had weird quirks.

So...enjoy this disaster of a character profile (and no, I don't see this ever getting approved for publishing, but it was fun to do, I'll be honest): https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:XitSign/Pong_Paddle_(Pong:_The_Next_Level)

Bumpping because I worked hard on this joke profile.

...Can't I at least get a 'kek'?

I doubt this can get much backing, since it's a Pong paddle of all things. It probably belongs somewhere like Joke Battles.

But it's been a meme with my friends, and was a lot of fun to use for practive when making profiles, so I at least wanted to show it off a little, get a few laughs.

I mean, I did try my best, but it's also 'Pong' we're talking about. I doubt I can argue there's enough consistancy in the 'verse' to get that approved.

(Oh lord, please don't make me play more pong games for a composite. XD)

So, I can make Phoenix Wright fight Pong? Hell yeah. Supported.

On a more serious note, it being a Pong Paddle really doesn't mean much. As long as it can realistically be expected to fight something, there is no reason for it not to have a profile.

I had to double check Phoenix Wright's Profile...Oh my god that's actually viable. We're doing that, regardless of where Pong Paddle ends up we're finding a way to have that match-up.

I had imagined this would be a bit more frowned upon just because the verse doesn't seem well suited for scaling, and I had to make use of a lot of real-world animal comparisons to even get reasonable stats. You guys think something like this would actually be fine?

What better way to break in a new character than to see them on the withness stand? I'll get right on it.

I went to check, it feels like every time I turn around Phoenix Write gets stronger...But yeah, it's an AP stomp if we give Pong Paddle the benifit of the doubt and the 'Large Ape' is a Gorilla, Pheonix is a little over 10x stronger.

Attack Reflection seems to only work on projectiles since the Pong Paddle...plays Pong as it's main attack. But it's possible having summons and its elastic body might be enough for a viable win-con? Maybe?

Otherwise, Phoenix does totally crush this before it even starts.

Honestly, I'd love to see people get down and really debate the Pong Paddle, so I'm game for any ridiculous match-up that's possible with it.

Don't be too discouraged, Phoenix DEFINATELY has AP, but it's possible some of the unique abilities of the Pong Paddle means its still viable, even if it's a onesided fight.

If we're going full meme with this...Hank Hill's on the table, now that your post reminds me that we have a profile for him.
