Follow this thread to be notified of changes to our site's standards that require the revision of pages.

This thread is intended merely for announcement of these changes and general advice on implementing them, not to discuss and ask questions about issues and edge-cases. For those, please use the linked thread meant to organize that implementation. If one doesn't exist, then contact someone involved with the original thread instead.

Possible revision of our vision range/"twinkle in the sky" feats

Change: Vision range for most objects changed from a fixed 20 kilometers, to being based on a formula. For humans 1.8 meters tall, this makes the vision range now 3.6 kilometers instead.

Types of series this will effect: Any who have ratings, particularly speed, based on objects leaving sight. Particularly, feats of being sent past the horizon or turning into a twinkle in the sky.

How it will effect them: Those feats will need to be recalculated, which may result in a change of tier.

A new rule for social media links?

Change:
A consistent format for referencing social media evidence has been implemented, involving using screenshots and archive links if possible. That format can be found here. Pages with evidence that comes from social media, such as word of god statements, should be checked to make sure they follow this.
