Pokemon Poison Type = Radiation?

Ive been meaning to ask this. Whether it comes from Poison types, or something else, does Pokemon have anything in it that could spell radiation manipulation? Im honestly wondering about this.

Most poisons or toxins have nothing to do with radiation in the sense you're talking about, so no. That's not to say somebody out there can't do it, but as far as what the type itself entails, no.

I think that poison type is associated more with biological poisons, or stuff like poisonous gas. Radiations are a different matter.

Can't recall if there is something akin to the latter

As far as I know, Deoxys is the only one who has something akin to it. He was created by the DNA of a space virus exposed to laser radiation. Not an ability, but it does exist in the sense you're likely thinking of.

Deoxys mutated basted on extraterrestrial radiation but other than that i dont think there is a radiation based pokemon

So apparently while doing a little web surfing on the topic, I found this .

Not a poison type thing, but apparently Eevee evolves when it's hit with radiation from "element stones". As in, the thunder, fire, and water stones?

What about this? Could Eevee be given radiation resistance because of this?

Not every single form of radiation is hazardous, otherwise everyone would be dead.

Only ionizing radiation.
