Didn't Po with Mastery of Chi leaded with the Energy Dragon against Kai? He only really uses the Wuxi finger as a finishing move (for Tai Lung), or in case all else fails (For Kai, even though it failed)

that was because they were already in the spirit realm to begin with and wuxi finger hold BFRs anyone to the spirit realm as long as they aren't an inghabitant of said realm.
