If both sides remain civil, I do genuinely find debates fun.

You'd be surprised how rare of a trait that is in a community which revolves around it, though.
You start that journey without much importance put on it
Mid-way through it, you forget yourself and becomes entitled when people don't follow your worldview
Ending is just you returning to the first phase, accepting stuff as they are and seeing it isn't any important in the end.

In general, people are just very attached to the stuff they scale, to the point they make it a part of themselves/of their personality. Hence, why so many problems.

I suppose a large part of it is recognizing that no matter what conclusion we reach here, it has no impact on anything of actual importance.
And even if the wiki decides a character is somewhere, you're completely free to personally think they're somewhere else and even argue with that notion in mind on literally any other platform.

So, like: of course I would prefer if High 1-A followed my preferences, but it's not like it actually changes anything meaningful if it doesn't.
I mean, on a literal level: it technically doesn't even affect the power level of any characters, just what we arbitrarily call their power level.

The other part of it is I'm a huge nerd, and love yapping, so just having the opportunity to type in full paragraphs and have someone actually listen and respond is really fulfilling.

Yeah exactly, like, some people do forget that depending on the wiki you're on, a character with the very same feats could get way higher or way lower, everything is truly subjective. Although, obviously, we try our best to make it "accurate to work of origin", but, well, sometimes stuff happens.

Obviously, in any case, it's not like you would be "wrong" or I would be "right" or anything in between, it's just "according to the standards of that particular wiki" which is ultimately pretty inconsequential.
