Speed is equalized, both sides bloodlusted and the fight takes place in an open backyard

Hard to say, actually. Both of them have very similar fighting styles and are really strong. I think the pitbull might have an advantage.

chimpanzee should win , they are larger , have far stronger jaws and have more fighting experince fighting animals much tougher then a pitbull and its intelligence advantage should also help out.

They aren't too much larger, about one and a half more times, and they have very little fighting experience against things bigger than a small monkey- not that they can't fight. Their bite force is about equal if not slightly higher for the Pitbull, who also has a set of teeth much better for killing and, most importantly, immobilizing. A good bite and it could manage to lock down the chimpanzee.

the chimpanzee is going to do far more damage , it has far stronger jaws , once the chimp has a hold on the pitbull its over , chimpanzees are known to maul peoples face off , a chimpanzee has a bite force of 600 pounds per pressure , while a pitbull has a bite force of only 320 pounds per pressure.

edit:i did the calcs wrong , 292 for the chimp and 100 lbs for the dog.

Fair enough, but bite damage comes more from teeth and less from bite force- and the PItbull's got better teeth overall. Our bite force is not actually much lower than a dog's, but of course we do a lot less damage.

I do agree saying the pitbull has the advantage is wrong though.

the chimpanzee has far larger jaws , look up a picture of a chimpanzees fangs , their teeth are far larger then a pitbulls jaws or any domestic dog for that matter.

Untrue, their mouth is smaller. Their fangs are longer, but only their canines are made for piercing, meanwhile half a dog's teeth are made for that purpose.

uh no , chimpanzees have a very large teeth that are far stronger then any domestic dog , their teeth are also far more durable , the function of their teeth has no baring on this , when the chimp has far more durable teeth and stronger teeth over all , also the ape should have more stamina and far stronger muscle strength overall .
