Piccolo Nail Fused Multiplier x10

In the Piccolo Perfil says that when he fused with Nail he multiplied his power x5 according to the Spanish version.

But in the French version says that his power multiplied in x10

Personally, I think the French version is more reliable than the Spanish one.

What do you think?

“Decuplé” in French is also an expression for “much stronger”. not necessarily 10 times stronger.
( As a Frenchman I have never heard a person say "decuplé" to mean 10 times stronger precisely )

In the English dialogue for Kakarot, Nail asserts that by fusing, Piccolo's strength will increase by "tenfold, maybe more", whereas the original Japanese dialogue asserts Piccolo's strength "数倍にもなる" (sūbai ni mo naru) or "will increase several times over". Could be yet another example of egregious overexaggeration, given the ambiguity.

I think the argument for the French version being more viable was because it was the first one allegedly published. Other than that it seems like it’s just two versions of the same guidebook

The multiplier was used to find out how strong Piccolo was pre-Nail merge. Meaning the bigger the gap the weaker he’d be

If one language says one thing and the other says another, and there is no base magazine to base it on (since it seems that there is no Japanese version of the magazine)

So we have to see what the primary canon supports, 5x or 10x. Because in terms of reliability, the French and Spanish versions come into play, I think it's the same thing.

From what I saw, this is correct.

The French version was launched in 2007 and the Spanish version in 2008.

Décuplé is often used to indicate 10x more. As a guy that speak French, I can confirm. I also think we should base on the first version of the said magazine

Personally, I think Kakarot should take precedence over The Legend of Manga, considering its recency and Toriyama's involvement in story and scenario writing.
