Phoenix and Maya vs Tohru Adachi (Turnabout TV)

By some miraculous reality-breaking Phoenix and Maya end up in Inaba just as the murders begin. Now he must solve the crime alongside his sidekick Maya before they themselves end up on those telephone wires. Can they solve the crime before Adachi figures out what they're doing and sends them to the TV?

Battle Rules

• Speed is Equalized
• Phoenix and Maya have access to the TV World and a persona to aid against shadows.
• Adachi knows of Phoenix's presence and past but does not know that they are searching for clues involving the murder just yet.
• The fight ends when Phoenix and Maya die, Adachi dies, or if Phoenix gets enough evidence to prove it is Adachi and gets him arrested.

You’re probably right though since without the power of friendship they probably wouldn’t be able to convince Adachi to turn himself in easily.

Pretty much
It's just a stalemate of Adachi refusing to come in and Phoenix and Maya not having the ability to bring him in on their own, since Adachi scales to Yu at worst, and above the entire IT at best.

Maybe if they grabbed their allies like Apollo and Athena lmao

This is honestly better fit for Fun & Games. Tohru Adachi's base form is Low 1-C, while most newly-awakened Persona users tend to only reach Tier 6. Even if Phoenix manages to ascertain enough evidence, Adachi can simply play the waiting game until either he manages to kill Phoenix, the Shadow World kills Phoenix, or Phoenix gives up entirely. They'd also need the glasses from Teddie if they wanted to explore properly, though I'd imagine the chances of them befriending the shadow are relatively high.

I meant "befriending the shadow" as in, Phoenix and Maya would likely convince Teddie to make them glasses. Adachi is, unfortunately, the one who'd be capable of manipulating the shadows....
