Personal Angsizing problem

I'm trying to calculate a feat of a character dodging an crossbow arrow. The arrow is closer to the screen than the character's head. Yet no matter how many variables I change, I end up with a result FURTHER from the screen than the character's head which makes no sense.

Here's the screenshot I used to try and angsize:

I tried using the full length of the arrow in this scan, the length of just the tail, and it just ends up being 'further' from the screen than the characters head, making it impossible as far as I'm aware to calculate reaction speed for evading it.

Here's a video of the feat if there are any suggestions on how to approach this:
 
There are other things regarding Ang sizing that also have common issues coming up.
