Persona 5 Royal and Strikers Canonicity

So I noticed in some threads that there has been some dispute about weather or not P5R can be considered as canon to P5S. I can see both sides (Though I am more partial to thinking that it could be canon admittedly). I wanted to know if we could get some proper clarification on how the Wiki should treat this going forward, and weather or not it would be feasible for certain Strikers statements to apply to Royal and vice versa. (Most notably, the Strongest Persona's of all time statements.)

I understand that I may very well get chastised for this should there be a obvious answer/a obvious place where this was already decided, but all I've seen thus far has been just people arguing about it in some other threads. It's a good idea to sort out these kinds of things before we address them in other settings, so that we don't have more confusion and conflict than needed. I hope that we can have a productive discussion here that can result in us having a better defined idea of how the Wiki treats the Persona Timeline, and more specifically the Persona 5 Extended Material.

The Megami Tensei supporters consider Strikers and Royal to be set in alternate continuations of P5. As I've stated before, there are plot and character inconsistencies that make each sequel mutually exclusive to each other in terms of continuity. In terms of what can and cannot be cross-referenced, most general statements regarding lore should be valid, considering all Megami Tensei media is set in the same, overarching cosmology.
