Which is weird considering even if we discount the Four Fold, he still has Sixfold in his peak key. You seem to be confusing "arguing for a verse being lightspeed" for "arguing what written text says". I don't care how yall handle Overlord, I love the series but powerscaling it ain't my cup of tea. However just denying the written text leaves a sour taste in my mouth, you can call it outliers or whatever idc but rudely denying things does nothing.

......... Huh? Now you are kinda just ignoring what's been said in general. Additonally, anime never depicts Cocytus as tanking it, the attack fires and it's destroyed mid-use. There's no indication that it actually touched him, from what I can tell.

As for the LN, yeah it's a bit vague on if he blitzed the martial arts or simply the katana however Cocytus outright mentions the power of the attack being level 40 which isn't something that he'd comment on if Brain never actually used it.

That is fair, both of Cocytus' stuff can be interpretation based as most Light Novel things are. However it supports both of our arguments since one interpretation is superior to Shalltears while the other in inferior.

While that is true, it's outright stated "He wished to converse with him through the clash of their blades." and "However, he felt that other than that single strike, there was not much else power in him.". If we are to assume Brain actually swung his blade, then Sixfold would've activated as that is the blade striking.

Obviously, interpretive as hell, however denying such possibilities is unfair. I don't care one way or the other but they are there for both Cocytus and Shalltear, much easier to just call em outliers and call it a day if refusing them as valid is the goal.

On top of that, we have calcs that would upscale all 9-A to 8-C, and is supersonic+ really they best the show has? I'm re-watching the anime and swear there are some at least hypersonic feats for combat/reactions, and even lightspeed for certain spells/abilities.

There's three separate feats that support double to triple digit Mach.
The first is Riku being described as "exactly as fast as a meteor".
The second one is Albedo crossing a 100 metres in the time it takes Azuth to get outta the way. The Powered Suit boosts his reactions greatly and he should be able to move atleast low milliseconds seeing how even level 20's have those kind of feats and lvl 100's blitz.
The third is Ainz's fight with the Evil Lord of Wrath. The fight starts off in the city which is far from the wall abd ends with Ainz falling outside the country in the Abelion hills and in the movie the fight in the air takes 12 seconds

Get them calced. I won't accept assumption-filled stuff. And quite frankly, this isn't the CRT to apply that, and more than half the profiles suck and those should take priority over upgrades

Cocytus was unscathed, the blade did not manage to reach him, yet his skills as a warrior was commendable.
…I have never heard of such an excellent warrior…
It was such a shame that he had to kill him.
If it was possible, he wanted to save his life and have him become loyal to his master. He could have easily broken his opponent’s sword, tanked his hit, or broke all four of his limbs, but that is not the way of a warrior.

The sixfold flash of light being SoL us definitely hyperbole. Adamantite characters are around supersonic.

what about this thread? I was actually looking for something like it after rewatching the 9th ep of season 4, where a death warrior shows that blocking a lot of machine gun bullets is its limit, but also would drastically upscale other people, and the flight speed for the guy wielding it, could someone get a calc for this?

Look at Ainz's profile. In source edit. That is the quality expected, the minimum is Gazef's profile.

This isn't just a "Hey look guys I added more justifications!" No you need to put in the legwork of quality.

You would have to show he isn't aim dodging or tanking the entire thing.
