One Piece General Discussion: Elbaph

Wow Oda included that young painter girl from little garden in the people reacting to the news in the latest chapter. Kind of cool he remembers characters like her.

Wish oda is going to include more about the culture of religions now, Elbaf is going to presumably be one of them tho because of Nika otherwise the only other thing was with the Noland and Kalgara backstory

Since we know Nika, Asura, Buddha and Satan is a thing, would be cool to see their culture and possibly DFs

Show me the Monkey King 👁️🔪

The art is so cool.

There's some comments that interested me. It says that unlike Luffy, Nika and Joyboy have a more fiery aesthetic in comparison , while Luffy is more cloudy. Some peeps believe that maybe Luffy might be utilizing a weaker form of Gear 5 (what they dub as the "Moon" form since he's in front of the moon when he did the famous Nika jump) and that the fiery appearance of Joyboy and Nika might be the full power form (the "Sun" form if you will). Not sure if this will actually become true, but I do find this being an interesting possibility and maybe explains why Luffy can't permanently hurt the Gorosei while it's possible that the scars some of the Gorosei have might've been from Joyboy utilizing the fully realized fruit.

Obviously take this all with a grain of salt.

Oops, I put can instead of can't when it comes to Luffy hurting the Gorosei.

Not really, Queen doesn't canonically use Haki very much. You'd have better luck with healthy Queen vs Greenbull, and that's still not that fair.
I mean, even if he doesn't use Haki very much, he's gonna have to or he can't stand a chance. He'd have no reason not to here

Yeah, but he doesn't have many Haki feats other than just having good Haki and resisting DJ or something.

All things considered, though, I just realized how close Queen is to a full-on Admiral-tier.

Odd question, and one that goes over profiling in general, but how would certain statements about power be quantified? Say a character has a self proclaimed striking strength let's say 25 tons, but it's only that, tons. Not tons of tnt, or tons of force, just tons. What exactly would it equate to?

It'd be referring to the amount of force striking them, basically. If you think about it, a ton refers to an amount of force, considering how gravity works.

I love Sanji (in fact he's the Straw Hat I relate to most, because his top values in life are women and food) but this is hilarious bruh
